Background and Experience
At the tender age of 14, Gary was called to the gospel music ministry to play Bass guitar, and sing 1st and 2nd Tenor. Currently, he plays Bass with the music ministry, and is a member of The New Mt. Nebo Baptist Church Capital Heights, MD Pastor Robert R Johnson, Jr., and Sr Pastor Robert R Johnson, Sr. In 2014, Gary became a member of the DC Legendary Musicians, Incorporated, Rev. Dr. Sandra Butler-Truesdale, Chairperson. In Feb, 1969 he began playing Bass, and singing with the Bonnett Harmonizers. Gary has performed with several Gospel and R&B artists, including the D.C. Harmonies’, Albert Phillips and the Divine Messengers, Bold for Christ Music Ministry, Gospel Aires, and Pilot Aires. He has toured with the Mississippi Mass Choir, on several occasions. From May, 2005 – Jan, 2010, Gary sang tenor, as the Lead Singer of the Dynamic Superiors, originated in Washington, DC. Back in the seventies, eighties, and nineties, Gary enjoyed singing in school programs, civil, and social events. He sang backup for several local R&B groups, including Mouse Trap, 4 Way Connection, and HALO.

Education and Interest
Lawrence Dunbar High School, Washington DC, and studied Pre-Law, Langston University, Boston, Massachusetts.
Interests
Writing Poetry and Rearranging Music, Listen to Classic Music (Mozart), Gardening, Fashion Coordination, Cooking, Reading, and watching Judge Judy, and the WWE.
